A Gloriously Bright Truth

In our second Bright Sunday worship celebration, Minister of Students, Micah Collins takes us back to I Corinthians 15 to help us understand the power of the truth that God has made us alive from the dead through Christ.  As a seed grows into a beautiful flower, so too are we transformed from death to life.  This message was preached on Sunday, April 22, 2012 during the morning worship service.  This podcast is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Bogalusa, Louisiana.  Thank you for listening.

If you could speak to the world for three minutes and everyone on the planet would hear you, what would you say?  The Apostle Paul tells us that the resurrection of Christ over death is that which is of first importance to the believer and to the world.  On Resurrection Sunday, Pastor Adams moves to I Corinthians 15, a chapter of resurrection, as we begin a four week sermon series of Bright Sundays celebrating the resurrection.  This sermon was preached on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012.  This podcast is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Bogalusa, LA.  Thank you for listening.

In this, our final Sunday of the Listening to Jesus sermon series, Pastor Adams takes us to John 3:16 and Jesus' encounter with Nicodemus.  We learn the whole gospel from this one verse beginning with character of God (God so loved) as opposed to man's desperate nature (shall not perish) and culminating with God's provision for our desperate nature (but have everlasting life.)  This sermon was preached on Palm Sunday, April 1, 2012.  This podcast is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Bogalusa, LA.  Thank you for listening.
